Sale of flattop barge Sainty no.4

Aker Kvaerner Stord AS has purchased the Chinese newbuilding flattop barge "Sainty no. 4". She was successfully delivered to Buyers in Rotterdam May 2007 after she arrived from Shanghai heavily loaded with riverbarges on deck. The barge has dims. 135 x 42 x 8M and will mainly be used for the coming projects at Buyers yard the next years. The barge has now been named "Aker Kvaerner Barge" |
Towage of N/B hull TBN "Bibby Topaz" Landskrona, Sweden to Rissa, Norway.

The towage of N/B hull TBN "Bibby Topaz" arrived safely at Fosen Mek., Rissa early April 07 after beeing towed by the tug "Boxer" 65T BP from Landskrona, Sweden. |
Sale of "Urter".

Haugaland Shipping AS, Norway have sold the supply vessel type "Urter" built 1966 to private Italian Buyers May 2007. The vessel was built by Brooke Marine of Lowestoft and rebuilt in 1992,1995 and 2001. Vessel dims. 49 x 10,75M powered by 2 x Lister Blackstone each 800BHP. The vessel to be repaired by present Owners due to grounding last summer. |
Sale of "Vita".

The aluminium catamaran vessel "Vita" with dims. 18 x 5,8M has sold and delivered from Vita Marin AS to Argus Remote Systems AS in February 2007. The vessel is very well equipped with dynamic position system and suitable for ROV, diving and survey operations etc. |
Sale of tug "Montsacopa".

The Norwegian tugboat company Ødegaard Berging AS purchased the azimuthal tractor tug "Montsacopa" - 45T BP from Spain February 2007. The tug is built 1998, in Spain and has dims. 27 x 9,7M. She is powered by 2 x Ulstein Bergen, total 3600BHP - propulsion 2 x schottel. The tug is now operating mainly west coast Norway under the name "Mega Mammut". |
Towage of "Bibby Progress" Hammerfest, Norway to Nigeria via Nederland.

In connection with Bibby Maritime Limited having secured a contract for its coastel "Bibby Progress" in Nigeria, "Bibby Progress" was first towed by tug "Boxer" 67T BP from Hammerfest, Norway in October 2006 to Rotterdam where she underwent some repairs and outfitting for her new duties. Then she was picked up by AHTS "Englishman" 122T BP medio December 2006 and arrived Escravos, Nigeria week 3/2007 after a well performed voyage and without any weather delays including crossing of the Bay of Biscay. |
Towage of N/B hull LOA 212M St.Petersburg, Russia to Rissa, Norway.

AHTS "Eide Traveller" 92T BP was fixed for the towage of a large hull - N/B Stena RoRo vessel - with dims 212 x 26,7M from St. Petersburg, Russia to Rissa (Trondheim area), Norway. The towage departed from St.Petersburg end of December 2006 and arrived at Fosen Yard, the final destination after 14 days transit incl. weather delay. The towage met very strong winds en route and had to seek shelter in Öland, Kattegat and Stavanger. |
Sale of Terminal barge

"Pontus"– Floating Ferry Terminal The laid up terminal barge "Pontus" in Liverpool has been sold to Eide Marine Services AS, Norway in March 2006. The idea is to convert the barge with dims. 72 x 20 x 5M to a standard flattop barge. We represented the Buyers in this sale. |
Charter of tug Abramis - Snøhvit

Back in April 2004 the tug "Abramis" 32T BP was hired in to Statoil on a long term charter. The tug is assisting miscl. vessels and barges, which arrive at Melkøya, Hammerfest with modules and equipment to the LNG plant now under construction. In addition the tug handles local movements and assists with "odds and ends" type of jobs that come up relative to the Snøhvit project. Just before the tug went on charter, Owners installed a powerful bowthruster, which makes her very well manoeuvrable for this job. A deck crane has also been installed (January 2005) and this make her even more versatile. This charter ended 31.03.2006 and the tug was thereafter in drydock for classing and maintenance. |
Sale of Accommodation barge

FOR-TRA VI The German accommodation barge FOR-TRA VI was sold to Boa Offshore AS in March 2006 for the purpose of housing workers at the Landskrona yard in Landskrona, Sweden. The barge has dims. 94,64m x 11,25m and a capacity of 300 persons. We represented the Buyers in this sale. |
